2026-2027 Tuition and Fees

We have tiered tuition for kindergarten, lower, and upper grades.

Grades 6-8 is $13,680 total or $1,140 per month (12 payments).

Grades 1-5 is $13,140 total or $1,095 per month (12 payments).

Kindergarten (8:30 to 12:30 program) is $8,760 total or $730 per month (12 payments).

Tuition includes all fees with the exception of a $250 re-enrollment fee for current students each year, and $350 for new students, paid at the moment of re-enrollment or enrollment. The only other expense paid outside of tuition is the 8th grade trip. Both students and parents pay a certain amount to make this trip possible.

Tuition increases by a little bit every year; the Board sets the tuition amount every spring before the re-enrollment time begins.

For families invited to participate in our Kindergarten Afternoon Enrichment program (with priority given to sibling families first, and then to working families as space allows), the Enrichment program runs 12:30-3:00pm, and is an additional fee of $2,520 total or $210 per month.

For families invited to our First Grade First Semester Aftercare program (again, with priority given to sibling families, followed by working families based on availability), the cost is $230 for 5 months of extended care, in addition to tuition.

Tuition Assistance Program

2015-03-12 14.44.34.jpg

As is the case in all private schools, we have families who want their children to receive the education we offer, but can’t afford the full tuition. The school is happy to help; we value all applicants!

With this goal, each year the Board establishes a tuition assistance fund, using a portion of the money raised through annual giving and school-event fundraisers. The size of the fund varies, based on the overall budget picture and school needs for the year. The amount a family receives also varies, based on how many families request aid in a given year and the “size of the pot.” Every family who qualifies is guaranteed some help.

To assess eligibility, the school uses the services of the School and Student Services (SSS), an independent agency of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Parents who want financial assistance must submit their tax returns online to the SSS. The school sends out tuition assistance award letters for the upcoming school year in mid-May.  For more information, contact Cynthia Bower: cynthia.bower@siskiyouschool.org or 541-482-8223, ext. 22.
