Come join us to tidy up the campus for the upcoming school year! Bring water, sun-hats, gloves, clippers and be prepared to work outdoors. This even is led by our groundskeeper, Mr. Smith, and is a great way to meet new families and spend time with the community!

As part of our Before School Welcome Days, we offer a special chance for Kindergarteners and First Graders to come onto campus, meet their teacher, see their classroom and cubby, and get familiar with our school.
A link to sign up for a Cubby Day appointment will be sent to KG and Class 1 families in mid-August.

Join us for the Sunflower Ceremony where we introduce our new first graders to their 6th grade buddies.
Afterward, join us for our Welcome Tea, a time for reuniting with coffee and treats!
The First Day of School is a Half Day.
Half-Day Dismissal Times:
KG and 1st grade - 12:20 pm
2nd through 4th grade - 12:30 pm
5th through 8th grade - 12:40 pm
Our 6th Grade orientation trip is camping in Lassen National Park.
The trip is led by Tom Shelstad of Inner Guide Expeditions.

Join us for an evening to welcome you back to school and celebrate our community. Parents/Guardians only, please.
Timeline for Event:
5:45-6:15 p.m.: Dinner provided by the school. Please bring dinnerware!
6:15-6:45 p.m.: Community Meeting.
6:45-8:00 p.m.: Parent Meetings with class teachers.
Childcare will not be provided for this evening.
Alum parent, Bryon DeVore, will take school photos, both of individual students and whole classes.

Our Class 7 Fall Orientation Trip is camping along the Oregon coast.

Join us for Feats of Strength (games) in Clay Street Park at 3:30. Then head up to campus for the 2nd Grade play and Michaelmas Pageant, followed by a community potluck!
KG through 4th grade, please bring a main dish to share.
5th through 8th grade, please bring a side dish to share.
Please bring your own plates and utensils for a Zero Waste event and label your serving dishes for easy take home at the end of the night.
Field Day for the students during school hours and afterwards (1:00 pm) join us for MOVING DAY as our classes tidy up from the year and move into their new classrooms for 2026-27!
We celebrate our friends moving on to First Grade! Meet in Clay Street Park.
As they prepare for their graduation, we invite the 8th grade class to sit in a special circle with their teachers. Students only.
A time for celebration as our High School graduates take to another adventure.
Join us at the top of Clay Street Park for our annual festival. Bring chairs or blankets and wear white. Come onto campus to make a flower crown too!
