| Administrator: Catherine Razi |
Catherine comes to the job of Administrator after 26 years of involvement with Waldorf education as a parent and class teacher, at the Washington Waldorf School in Bethesda, Maryland, and at the Bay School in Blue Hill, Maine. Before having children and discovering Waldorf education, Catherine traveled widely and worked in Francophone Africa as an interpreter and consultant on business ventures and arts-related projects. Born in Paris of Greek-Romanian heritage, Catherine has maintained a lifelong interest in world affairs and languages. Her passions are children, the night sky, and the sense of place she feels on the stretch of Maine coast she calls home. In moving to Ashland last summer, Catherine reunited with her two grown daughters, both teachers, and her five-year old granddaughter who will enter first grade at The Siskiyou School in the fall.
