Singing Garden is a Waldorf inspired preschool and kindergarten program that is rooted in the seasons and cycles of nature. Located on a magical five acre farm in the heart of Ashland, the children are given many opportunities for meaningful work and imaginative play. Kindness, friendship and respect for one another are at the center of all we do. With nature and our garden just at our backdoor, we are a blend of an outdoor nature school, with a traditional Waldorf  preschool / kindergarten curriculum . Our days at Singing Garden are filled with seasonally inspired circles, crafts, stories and puppet shows, promoting a deep connection and reverence with the natural world around them.  At Singing Garden, children will find a new sense of confidence that they will cultivate and carry with them throughout their lives. They will  develop coordination, physical strength and balance, an ability to focus and engage all their senses, that will build a foundation for higher learning.

With over 10 years teaching experience, Ms. Hope finds great joy and purpose working with young children and serving local families. Her skill and love for crafting and creating beauty are shared with the children in her care, as well as her passion for homesteading. Here we explore the wisdom and connection to the wonders of planting seeds and watching them grow into food and medicine that will be used throughout the year.

Ms. Hope is a loving mother of two, her son recently graduated from Siskiyou School, she is currently homeschooling her  6th grade daughter who is often a helper, and loved by the children in Singing Garden. Before beginning Singing Garden, Ms. Hope worked as the lead teacher at Robin’s Nest.
